Bohemia Interactive has embarked on the development of a new, bold, and unannounced title that’s currently in early pre-production. We’re looking for a visionary Senior UX Designer to define how players experience every second of the game. We need someone with deep expertise in creating seamless and efficient UX for AAA titles. Your work will guide millions of players and allow them to enjoy the game without ever thinking about using a manual. This isn’t just wireframes and flows; it’s about designing the heartbeat of an immersive and engaging journey.

You’ll be the architect of clarity and simplicity, ensuring every interaction feels effortless and intuitive. From first install to in-game interactions, you will own all UX principles and aspects, including setup, menus, joining games, handling issues, and more. You’ll collaborate with our creative, design, art, engineering, and production teams to craft systems that empower players without breaking the immersion of the game world. You’ll turn complexity into elegance, vision into experience, and intention into emotion. This opportunity is more than just another UX role. It’s a chance to influence one of the studio’s most ambitious projects from the ground up, and a rare opportunity to
determine the UX foundation of a game that will redefine the authentic survival genre. You will shape how players connect with the game, as well as how they explore its depth and experience its most defining moments.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the design team and creative lead to map out and create the player’s journey workflow from beginning to end.

  • Build and maintain a living UX library white book and knowledge base to establish UX principles.

  • Cooperate with UI designers on implementing graphical data for the final in-game UI elements.

  • Prototype your proposals into the game on an iterative agile basis.

  • Be proactive in checking the current state of the game’s UX and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Participate in regular play sessions and check the state of implemented mechanics.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with end-to-end UX design for AAA game titles with global impact.

  • Deep understanding of the PC and console gaming universes.

  • Experience with working in a collaborative and agile team environment.

  • Good spoken and written English.

  • Strong cross-functional cooperation and team player mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with open-world, multiplayer, sandbox games, and modding.
