UI/UX DESIGNER
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our UI/UX team and help design great interfaces for our flagship game, ARMA. Your main responsibility will be designing complex interfaces through research, ideation, wireframing, and the creation of high-fidelity UI assets. Ideally, you’ll have experience working on complex projects and advocating for clear and usable solutions. If you also have experience with game development, building design systems in Figma, collaborating with developers, and supporting front-end implementation, then you may just be the candidate we’re looking for.
Responsibilities
Create meaningful UX deliverables such as storyboards, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and presentations that help the team understand what to build
Deliver pixel-perfect UI assets like icons, textures, and skinned widgets and layouts
Provide requirements, design, and feedback to teams working on in-house UI tools/pipelines
Revise and improve designs based on user feedback, research, tech constraints, and business decisions
Work with and improve our Arma4 Design system by creating new components and helping to maintain consistency on a regular basis
Work with game designers and programmers to integrate the technical and aesthetic elements of the game's UI
Requirements
Proficiency in creating detailed vector or raster graphics such as icons, textures, layouts, and widgets
Advanced knowledge of graphic design software from the Creative Cloud family (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop)
Advance knowledge of Figma; experience with design systems, styles, and variables
Knowledge of design trends, usability, and best practices across devices and platforms
Ability to objectively evaluate user experiences and understand how users experience gaming products
Prior experience as a UI/UX designer, UI artist, UX designer, Product Designer, web or app designer
Systemic thinking (you will be building very complex interfaces that should be usable)
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Nice to have
Experience in game development
Experience with Arma modding
Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Vegas Pro or similar
Experience with concept or digital art
Animation experience, motion design, 2D or 3D animation
Knowledge of any industry standard 3D modelling software such as Blender, Maya, 3DSMax, Z Brush or Substance Painter
